All of these projects below were made in my Graphic design class... They order from oldest to most recent. So the one at the top was the first project of the year, and the one at the bottom is the most recent project. Killer Bee Bookmark

One of my favorites to work on :) This was a bookmark for out school. In this project we used the shape tools and learned to play around with the settings.

letter Form Page 1

This one consisted of making pictures of word definitions only using letters to make the artwork. The right picture is tension, and the left is congestion. It was a challenge but it was fun :) there are three pages to it... this is the 1st.

The right picture is playful, the the left is scale, which is one of my favorites because of the letters being eaten :). It was a challenge but it was fun :) there are three pages to it... this is the 2nd.

Letter Form Page 3

This one consisted of making pictures of word definitions only using letters to make the artwork. In this picture the right is pattern, and the left is positive/negative space, it is not supposed to be clear which color is which. The funny part about that is i don't remember which is which :P :). It was a challenge but it was fun :) there are three pages to it... this is the 3rd.

logo Design Restaurant 1

These were logos i made for a pretend restaurant called sweet expectations. This project was a lot of fun because it involved being creative and fun. This one is the one i chose for the final logo... :)

Logo Design Restaurant 3

Restaurant Identity Suite

This was the final part of the Restaurant logo project. In this part I incorperated the logo into a letterhead, business card, and an envelope. I then laid them out onto one page to make then look clean and professional. This project turned out much better than i had expected.

Logo Design MRS

This one was a challenge. The goal was to make a new businesscard for an auto shop with the initials MRS. this was difficult because i had to make it look like it was not a woman's company but instead an auto shop. I think i could have done a better job on this one. It was not my best work.

Color Predictions

This project was difficult for my personally. The goal was to make a magazine cover for a fashion magazines spring fashion show. The difficult part was that the only colors allowed to be used were Rose Lilac, and Kelp. The usage of the rose (pink) made it difficult for me to be happy with my work... but i think it turned out fairly well. Making this was interesting, the images given as models did not work out that well so i ended up taking bits and peices of many of them and making out unique person. The flowers were also interesting, they all had to be made by hand from scratch, so making them was a fun challenge. :)

Soda Label

The soda label project goal was to invent a new soda and make a label for a 2 liter bottle of it. this image was also entered into a contest to become an actual soda label for a company. mine was not chosen as the finalist but still like the turnout of my project.

Melody of Words Pen Drawing

This was my favorite project because it involved using an image drawn outside of the computer and scanned in for the project. The girl and the moon in this image were what i drew before the project began. I will also be putting up the original drawing so that the transition is made clear. This was a difficult project because of the tracing the drawings. However, i think turned out very well.

This was the black and white drawing for melody of words.

Zoo Post Card

This is a post card that was made for the LA Zoo. The goal was to make it look like an intiving post card with 4 pictures. I was given the sized wished to be used for the images then from there had to make it work. This was not a very challenging project, it was used to get the class used to using photoshop.

Commodities to Culture

This project was not difficult, it was to further familiarize the class with photoshop.

The goal was to put images of commodities in out culture through pictures.

The words were given to us like all of the other projects,

but the colors and pictures were allowed to be anything!

So it is by far the most colorful project i have done this year.

CD Front

This project goal was to make a game, music, movie, ect, CD cover.

We were given almost a compleate free reign on what happened and was written in this project.

It was the first time the class got this opertunity to be fully creative and rely on our own minds.

CD Back

This project goal was to make a game, music, movie, ect, CD cover.

We were given almost a compleate free reign on what happened and was written in this project.

Crew

This image goal was to learn the retouch, patch, and heal tool.

We had to change the image and make it still look real.

The top image is the original and the boom is the edited picture.

Handsome Guy

This goal was to make the original picture (left) of the guy look many years younger (right).

This was a chance to test our knowledge of the retouch tools.

Family

The goal for this was to take the original image (left) and take off the tape, and fix the dust and scratches.

This was a very difficult picture to fix because of the images age. Most of the problems with the picture could not be fixed.

I was not happy with the result of this project.

Dear Old Grandfather

This project goal was to take the original image (left) and fix the fold,

and the dust and scratches, and to color the picture and make it look

like it was taken yesterday. I was happy with the turnout i of this project. :)

Jesus Christ Superstar

This was a project for the poster to a school play. The goal was to make the poster apear to be for a rave.

The challange was that even though it was a semi religious play, the only referance to any religion was the title.

All other referances were not allowed due to religious offence to students at the school.

Magazine Cover

This project is where will i be in 10 years to get on the cover of a magazine.

Mine was about being on the cover of a magizine called illustrator creative.

This is not a real magazine, but ya... :)

In this i used the shape tools, the hue and saturation, type, and layer styles.

This was compleated the day it was posted.. i think its a good one for only having three, 50 minutes class periods. :D
